Spiritual Gift Assessments
God has uniquely gifted every believer to serve Him and His church. Discovering your spiritual gifts can help you better understand how God has equipped you and where you may be able to serve others.
The following assessment is designed to help you identify areas in which you may be spiritually gifted. Remember, this is not a test, and there are no right or wrong answers. Use your responses as a starting point for prayer, reflection, and discovering how God may want to use you.
1. Take the Spiritual Gifts Assessment

Download and complete the Spiritual Gifts Survey. The assessment contains 80 statements. For each statement, select the response that best describes you.
Response Scale:
- 5 — Highly characteristic of me
- 4 — Most of the time
- 3 — Frequently
- 2 — Occasionally
- 1 — Not at all characteristic of me
Take your time and answer honestly. Your first response is often the most helpful.
2. Discover What Your Results Mean
Once you've completed the assessment and calculated your scores, use the Spiritual Gifts List to learn more about each gift.
The assessment looks at gifts including Leadership, Administration, Teaching, Knowledge, Wisdom, Prophecy, Discernment, Exhortation, Shepherding, Faith, Evangelism, Apostleship, Service/Helps, Mercy, Giving, and Hospitality.
3. Consider How God Can Use Your Gifts
Your results are not meant to put you in a box or determine exactly what ministry you should do. Rather, they can help you recognize ways God may have equipped you to serve.
Take some time to pray and consider:
What gifts am I beginning to discover in my life?
How might God want me to use these gifts to serve Christ and His church?
Where can I begin using these gifts to serve others?
