We care about you and your family here at Southern Calvert Baptist Church. Our Children and Youth Ministries are build to make sure the next generation is strong in their faith and that they know that God created them and loves them very much. Below are just a sample of the programs we have for your children throughout the year.
Vacation Bible School
"Be transformed by the renewing of your mind" - Romans 12:2
God’s rock solid truth in a world of shifting sands. Kids will be challenged as they discover that God’s truth never changes, everyone needs Jesus, and learn to speak the truth in love. Adventure awaits each day as kids explore tide pools, spot orcas, fly kites, and watch the mighty waves crash up against the immovable Breaker Rock!
Vacation Bible School is for grades completed kindergarten through completed 5th.

Fishermen's Club
During the summer months, all elementary aged children are invited to join us on Wednesdays at 6:00 PM for Fishermen’s Club. Parents are welcome to join us for Bible study while their children join us for Bible study, songs, crafts, games, and snacks.
Toddler Time
Join us for Toddler Time!
If you need to get out of the house with your little ones and let them burn some energy, join us in the Fellowship Hall at Southern Calvert Baptist Church, Monday's from 9:30 - 11:00 AM.
Infant through Kindergarten can bring a parent, grandparent, or adult caregiver for a time of free play and interactive songs.
Toddler Time will resume September 18th!
King's Kids Choir
The children’s choir is for ages Kindergarten through 5th Grade and meets during the school year (September-May) on Sunday evenings at 6:00 - 7:00 PM. This year, King's Kids will begin meeting on September 19th.

King's Teens Choir
King's Teens will be the first Middle School choir/ensemble at Southern Calvert Baptist Church, and the first such choir in Southern Maryland. If you have a middle schooler or know one who enjoys singing and would like to be a part of it, we will be meeting (September-May) on Sunday evenings at 4:30 - 5:30 PM. This year, King's Teens will begin meeting on Septmeber 19th.

Trunk or Treat
October 31st from 6-8PM
Trunk or Treat is a fun filled evening of music, games, candy, hotdogs, and much more. The event is free. No scary costumes, please.

Children's Easter Celebration
March 30th, 2024 from 9AM-11AM!
This free event will feature egg hunts, games, face-painting, crafts, donuts, a cupcake walk, and more!

CONNECT KIDS CAMP
During spring break all elementary aged children (K-5th) are invited to join us for Connect Kids Camp where they will join us for a week long Bible study, songs, crafts, games, and snacks.
