Senior Pastor Dr. Steve Fehrman

Dr. Steve Fehrman has served as the Senior Pastor of Southern Calvert Baptist Church for 3 years. He was born in Madison Tn., just outside of Nashville. He served our nation in two branches of the military, Army and the Navy.While serving in the Navy, he met his wife Cindy. Shortly after they were married, Cindy led Steve to faith in the Lord Jesus. Cindy and Steve have two daughters, Sarah and Hannah. Sarah is married to Ben Talbert. Sarah and Ben have two children Mason and Ella. Hannah is a student at Mill Creek Middle School.

Steve earned his Bachelor and Master degrees from Trinity Theological Seminary. He majored in Pastoral ministries with an emphasis on expository preaching. Steve recently completed the requirements for the Doctorate in Religious Studies (DRS), which will be awarded this spring.

Steve has 20 plus years of pastoral ministry. He preaches the Bible and strives to minister to people to the best of his ability. Steve's heart is too personally and through the ministry of Southern Calvert Baptist Church, "REACH PEOPLE, TEACH PEOPLE, AND MINISTER TO PEOPLE."

 

Associate Pastor Phil Coffman

Pastor Phil is married to Kara. They have 4 children ranging from ages 13 to 19 years old.
Pastor Phil holds a Masters of Ministry from Baptist Bible Seminary, Clark Summit, PA, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Bible/Elementary Education from Washington Bible College, Lanham, MD and  a Pastoral Ministry Diploma from Practical Bible College (now Davis College), Johnson City, NY.  He was ordained to the ministry in 2000.
 
Pastor Phil served as Youth Pastor at Tabernacle Baptist Church, Ithaca, NY for 10 years where he oversaw all aspects of Christian Education School and Youth Ministries. He has spoken at numerous College Bible Fellowships, Youth Rallies, and Christian School chapels.  His love for Word of God is evident in his teaching and preaching.
 
His hobbies include personal Bible study and spectator sports (football, basketball, baseball, and hockey).
